HERD DISPERSAL SALE!

Arrowhead Chocolate - $200

Arrow Diamond Award.jpg

Hawks Mt. Ranch Arrowhead Chocolate

Type B    DOB 3/20/17

This is a boy that I never thought I would part with, and will only part with to a special home. I am pricing him lower because he is an older boy, but seems hail and hearty and bred some does for me last fall, so I think he is still shooting live ammunition! He won the Diamond Award at OFFF in 2019 (meaning he beat out the Grand Champion bucks from the Angora and Cashmere classes - like best in show). He's the total package - laid back personaltiy, very balanced confirmation, and an incredibly dense fleece full of lovely Type B fiber. His lovely brown color is just the icing on the cake. And he often throws these characteristics in his kids. He's named after my very favorite chocolate shop, Arrowhead Chocolate, in Joseph, Oregon.

Benelli - $150

Whistlekick Benelli

Type B    DOB 3/29/18

I would love for Benelli and Arrowhead to go together to a new home mostly because they have lived most of their lives together, but understand if this doesn't work out. He is also getting older (so priced lower) but bred a doe for me this last fall so I believe is still viable and can introduce fresh lines into a herd. He is related to my my foundation Grand Champion buck, Vino Rosso, and these are some great lines to introduce to a herd. I have not bred him a lot since he was overshadowed by his friend Arrowhead, but he is a very solid buck with good width and solid bone. Very nice consistency to his fleece as well. We love his caramel coloring as well and he does throw this color occasionally for any one looking for it.

Probably Type B    DOB 2/5/24

This good looking fellow is out of Little Hawk Farms Lupe, so brings in some great lines from the midwest, especially the fine fiber that Little Hawk is known for. We are hoping he will bring the lovely fine fiber to the herd that his mother is known for. He also has good bone and balance to bring to his progeny. Can't wait to see what he produces!

Vino was an amazing buck who produced so many of my Champions and Grand Champions. A beautiful well balance, big boned boy that added great consistancy and density to fleeces in my herd. He was friendly and easy to handle, a great buck all around. Vino passed away in 2020, and I miss him. He will always have a special place in my heart!

Rondo was just a joy to have on the farm with a very friendly and sunny personality even when in rut! Another goat carrying the Chimera Creek lines, he was a small fellow but packed a punch. This good old boy passed away, and will definitely be missed.
