Updated August 8, 2012

We are not breeding Great Danes any longer. We had tentatively planned to breed Zee Zee, our young Merle female, when she was old enough, if her hips passed OFA and she continued to show solid conformation. Sadly, Zee Zee died suddenly and unexpectedly on August 8, 2012 at about a year old. The vet suspects cancer. We were shocked and very sad. Though we enjoyed our days of breeding these beautiful, sensitive dogs, we do not plan to look for another Dane that would have breeding potential. Thank you to all our past puppy

Puppy Sales Policy

We are careful to choose parent dogs that are healthy and free of obvious health issues - we also have hips OFA evaluated. We also are careful that the dogs have a balanced, friendly personality. Because of this, we have confidence that we are producing great puppies, with sound health, conformation, and minds. We do not offer a puppy replacement gaurantee because sometimes this is impractical, but if any inherent health concern should develop in the first two years, please contact us and we will see if we can compensate in some way.

Puppies with a verbal agreement to buy will be put on HOLD for a week until a non-refundable down payment of $100 is received. (Some puppies on hold do become available again so keep on eye on them). Once the deposit is received, the puppy will be marked SOLD. Payment-in-full is due when you pick up the puppy.

Each puppy will have had their dew claws removed, their first shots, and a thorough vet examination. Puppies will come with limited AKC registration unless other arrangements are made to approved homes.

Our puppies are fed EaglePack Large/Giant Breed Puppy food which is excellent for Great Danes (Great Danes were used for testing and development of the food). We will send the puppy home with a small amount of this food to help them transition, a health record, and their AKC registration papers.

Microchipping

We can now microchip your puppy for $20 (plus there is a $20 one-time fee to send in with the form for registering the chip in your name). Our vet charges $74 for this service, so this can save you a little money if microchipping is something you want for you dog. We use Avid ID microchips. (If you would like more information on Avid microchips, you can call 800-336-AVID or go to their website at AvidID.com.) Please let us know ahead of pick-up time if you would like your puppy microchipped so we can have it done before you take your puppy home.
